This would suit someone who wants to be involved in building a world-class team of software engineers and be the Technical Lead for the teamThe Qualcomm graphics system team in Cork will be developing software for the next generation of graphics processors (GPU).The Systems Software Team is responsible for delivering device drivers and tools for prototyping, exploring and verifying new and prospective features for next generation GPU’s.System software engineers work closely with top mobile GPU experts, systems architects, hardware designers, verification engineers and silicon team throughout the development life cycle of GPU. Knowledge of graphics, algorithms, computer architectures, and operating systems are required to develop device drivers and solutions to support the graphics team for validation of future Adreno GPU’s.You will need to cultivate a deep understanding of Qualcomm’s Adreno hardware architecture and its impact on relevant graphics APIs.
