This position will be based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, and you will be a member of one of the most inspiring affiliate's business units. You will directly report to a District Sales Manager.

The Position


As a Medical Representative, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the business plan for your geographical area to ensure that the company objectives and sales targets are achieved. In addition, you will measure, track, evaluate, and present key metrics: prescription depth and breadth planning.


Your main accountabilities will be:


• Contribute to the national business plan by achieving targets through the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies aimed at effectively presenting and promoting Novo Nordisk product(s) to healthcare practitioners


• Take an entrepreneurial approach and you will be expected to operate with a high level of ownership


• Demonstrate a high level of understanding of customer needs


• Anticipate and adapt action plans to maximise opportunities and address challenges excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely follow-up


• Work across different external stakeholders including but not limited to Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), physicians, pharmacists, and hospital management


Qualifications


As a Medical Representative, you need to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with minimal supervision. Nevertheless, you need to have an aptitude for learning and an ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as value propositions for the product(s) under your responsibility.


To be successful in this role:


• Bachelor's degree in Pharma is a must; Postgraduate or master’s degree is a plus


• 0 – 2 year of experience in sales within the pharmaceutical industry


• Proficiency in English is a must


• Experience in Diabetes will be a plus


• Experience in the private sector will be a plus


• Entrepreneurship mindset, you are a strong Influencer and an exceptional team player


About the Department


The Diabetes Care Sales Team leads Novo Nordisk’s Diabetes product portfolio in Saudi Arabia, which includes world-class therapies for the treatment of diabetes and the reduction of adverse cardiovascular events. As part of the team, you will be responsible for promoting Novo Nordisk products and have frontline exposure to our portfolio vision, business strategies, and critical market insights that drive our business forward. You will drive the Novo Nordisk portfolio strategy to ensure that the latest therapies and products reach the people who need them most.
