Our sales team thrive on building meaningful relationships with educators, librarians, faculty members, and those making decisions on medical and engineering education. We are seeking an experienced, results-driven, and motivated Business Development Manager to sell and promote our Access portfolio to medical and engineering educational institutions, educational libraries, and clinical organisations, across Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and the UAE.How can you make an Impact?As an experienced “hunter”, coupled with strong commercial acumen, you will play a crucial role in expanding our presence across the Middle East and Africa region. As our new Business Development Manager, you will identify new commercial opportunities and drive revenue growth for our digital medical education solutions, (AccessMedicine, Boards & Beyond, AccessEngineering, etc.).What can you expect?Becoming our specialist business development “sales gun” – researching and prospecting new engagements, building business cases for new types and scales of deals, understanding our market, and holding face-to-face meetings with our customers.You will understand the complexity of our customer – identifying the right stakeholders, being aware of budgets, and knowing the decision-making criteria and timelines.Delivering on annual targets – targeting universities, teaching hospitals, pharmaceutical organisations, and government health authorities.Building and developing relationships with education managers – understanding their digital educational needs and designing the required solutions from our portfolio.Developing a deep knowledge of our solutions, remaining informed of competition, product offerings and industry trends so you can effectively align the value proposition of our solutions.Based from our MEA HQ in Dubai, you will be expected to travel across the territory, building long-lasting, commercial relationships with new and existing customers.We’re looking for someone with:A solid background in business development – a natural “hunter”, a proven sales professional that can win new business.An understanding of the Higher Education sector is a must. Preference would be given to this who have knowledge of medical/health and/or engineering education.A real passion for education – an individual that wants to impact the learning experience of our future doctors, surgeons, scientists, engineers, etc.The ability to travel regularly across the territory.Fluent English and Arabic is a must.Why work for us?The work you do at McGraw Hill will be work that matters.
