Job Overview:As a Tech Lead, you should be passionate about leading a group of front-end, mobile, and back-end engineers, helping and guiding them to improve themselves and their work. The right person will not only be able to demonstrate their proactive skills but also work with the rest of the team to lead the continuous evolution and improvement of our platform and our team.Responsibilities:Work with the engineering, product, and design teams to help bring the features on our ambitious roadmap to life.Plan features and define their scope, requirements, and estimate them.Being part of the daily stand ups that are done with the product team.Build & optimize JAMStack applications in Typescript (Nestjs and React).Coaching, shadowing, and supporting other engineers.Work with your team to promote best practices and maintain a high-quality standard.Maintain project codebase and keep all of its dependencies up to date.Participate in regular code reviews and write unit tests.Participate in the retrospective sessions to ensure that we are not only performing continuous integration and deployment but also improving our teamwork.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A strong background of 6 years or more as an engineer or FullStack Developer.Firm grasp of the Javascript language and its nuances.Experience using Postgres or DBRMS.Experience with REDIS cache system.Experience with Docker and containers.Experience with version control (Git).Experience in building REST or GraphQL APIs in Nodejs.Experience with functional programming.Proficient in Linux command-line.Ability to lead, motivate and coach team members to establish and develop an effective team and manage the team’s performance to achieve targets continuously.Leading day-to-day requests from the team members, senior and junior engineers, support and empower them to make mistakes and improve while working.Strong organization skills and structure in the approach to solving problems.Strong communication skills, both written and verbalLeadership skills.Ability to work with distributed teams in multiple time zones.Proficiency in English.Attention to details.Able to adapt quickly to changes in workflows/processes/procedures/product features.Excellent organization skills, in particular in task management.Out-of-the-box thinker.Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Have a clean coding standard to avoid creating waste.
