Job Title Senior ICA Engineer – Ecological & Remediation Projects
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, integration, and implementation of ICA systems for environmental remediation and ecological restoration projects
Develop and optimize control strategies for systems such as groundwater treatment, soil vapor extraction, and leachate management
Design and configure SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems to monitor and control remediation processes
Collaborate with environmental engineers, ecologists, and field teams to ensure instrumentation aligns with sustainability goals
Conduct site assessments to determine instrumentation needs and system compatibility
Oversee installation, commissioning, and calibration of field instrumentation including flow meters, sensors, and analyzers
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and health & safety standards during system deployment
Analyze data from control systems to evaluate remediation effectiveness and recommend improvements
Prepare technical documentation, control narratives, and O&M manuals for ICA systems
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and field technicians
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, or Environmental Engineering
Minimum 12+ years of experience in ICA engineering, with at least 3 years in environmental or remediation projects and Ecological Engineering.
Strong knowledge of automated control systems used in ecological and industrial remediation.
Experience with SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE, Siemens) and PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Schneider)
Familiarity with environmental monitoring equipment (e.g., pH, turbidity, VOC sensors)
Understanding of regulatory frameworks such as EPA, HCIS, or local environmental standards
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills

Job Requirements
Candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Environmental Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience in ICA engineering.
Strong knowledge of automated control systems and experience with SCADA platforms and PLC programming is essential.
