Partner with the best As a Radiation Safety Officer, you will be responsible for implementing measures that protect workers, the public, and the environment from harmful exposure to radiation.
As a Radiation Safety Officer, you will be responsible for
Ensuring that all personnel working with or around radiation receive proper training and understand the risks and safety procedures.
Ensuring the comply with national and local radiation safety regulations Overseeing radiation monitoring, maintaining exposure records, and ensuring safety protocols are followed during radiation use, transport, or disposal.
Reviewing and checking all daily reports received from Rig sites where we have RA sources are completed and complying with Baker Hughes standards Being responsible for all related tasks to Radio Active Source in Drilling Services.
Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will
Have bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 2 years of relevant experience in radio safety management (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in radio safety management) Be a certified radiation safety officer Be a positive team player and show the ability to adapt in an ever-changing, dynamic environment Have excellent Interpersonal and leadership skills and able to work independently.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Have good communication skills.
Be able to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Be able to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
