Job Description
Job Specific Accountabilities
Execute copy and messaging for activities and campaigns for retail banking product marketing to deliver against set annual marketing objectives.
Ensure ongoing monitoring across customer channels to ensure key products benefits are messaged consistently and clearly
Develop copy in simple arabic, avoiding jargon and banking terminology to best appeal to Arabic speaking customers
Work with advertising and creative agencies as advisory and proofreading during creative and campaign iteration processes.
Develop Arabic best practice tools including Arabic nomenclature documents and library of key terms and phrases for consistency across Arabic
Ensures all copy is aligned with FAB brand tone of voice and copy style guide
Supports and ensures appropriate Arabic dialect depending on key Arabic target audiences and channels.
Understands Islamic variances and terminologies and ensures appropriate copy for Islamic products and services.
Monitor competitive activity, industry trends and internal / external research and integrate where relevant into marketing briefs and copy
Ability to deliver on executional excellence, managing projects on time and within budget
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Experience
6 years relevant experience in communications with at least 4 years in similar positions where marketing / customer facing writing and copy in Arabic is a key responsibility of the role.
Other Required Experience
Experience in a Communications role working with marketing agencies and marketing teams.
Communications background from an FMCG, agency or banking business preferred.
Experience of working with global, regional and local marketing teams with experience in the region.
Excellent written Arabic with an excellent knowledge of grammar and dialects
Able to build and execute on creative ideas.
Comfortable in understanding marketing strategies and plans.
Effective at decision making and drives for results
Able to adhere to clear marketing processes.
Demonstrate a proactive, flexible and solution driven attitude and stress resilient.
Proven people skills who can influence and convince people.
Team player.
Good communication and project management skills.
Comfortable using AI tools and looks for new and efficient ways to generate best copy at scale.
Fluent in Arabic.
Native Arabic speaker / mother tongue Arabic required.
Computer literate and technology passionate.

Work from marketing briefs supplied by Marketing Business Partnerships to craft and deliver ARA copy platforms for product offers, promotional offers and regulatory messages to best communicate product offers, benefits and features
Develop arabic copy for BTL product communications including EDM, SMS, web, internal channels, branches and other BTL activities based on EN copy
Review and proofread advertising arabic copy prepared by agency to ensure right tone of voice, alignment with BTL copy and quality control
Support with strategic thinking and messaging for product propositions and to best promote features and benefits of key products in arabic.
Develop consistent messaging against these for promotions and campaigns.
