Jacobs is seeking a talented Electrical Design Engineer to join our Buildings & Logistics team based from our office in Riyadh.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing Electrical systems within buildings, including power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and systems ensuring they meet sustainability, safety, efficiency, and client requirements.
You will work on various project stages from concept to detailed design, coordinating closely with architects, structural engineers, and contractors.
In joining Jacobs you will
Develop electrical design concepts and detailed drawings electrical systems including low voltage (LV), medium voltage (MV), lighting, power, emergency, ELV, and life safety systems.
Perform engineering calculations such as load estimation, voltage drop, fault current, and cable sizing using software tools like ETAP, Dialux, and Excel.
Coordinate electrical services design with other disciplines (mechanical, architectural, structural) to ensure seamless integration
Attend design coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to present designs and resolve issues
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory changes in electrical building services.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineer, Built Environment Engineering from a recognized university
3+ years of experience in electrical building services design.
Support senior engineer and/or senior designer in the on-going determination of building services requirements
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Elite, or similar)
The ability to produce well-presented reports is also essential.
Revit experience is preferred
