Financial Accountant

Accountant (AP&AR)- Claims for MedNet UAE As a member of Munich Re the MedNet Group is a leading Third-Party Administrator across the MEA region. We are currently seeking to hire “Accountant (AP&AR) Claims” with our regional Finance Department for MedNet Head office located in Dubai- UAE with the following tasks and responsibilities:Your Role:Prepare and maintain MedNet payable transactions.Responsible for closing of accounts payable each month end to ensure accurate documentation and financial statements.Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations.Monitor cash flow and consult with the Financial Controller and Treasury ManagerPerform reconciliations monthly to ensure that all adjustments are made on a timely basis.Prepare monthly invoices.Perform monthly receipts.No unallocated cash receipts, follow up with the relevant team to obtain payment details.Implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of accounting activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.Ensure predefined KPIs are met for accounts payable and receivable processing.Identify and adhere to key controls identified in accounting processes.Regular reconciliations with PIC’sPrepare monthly KPI’s and report to line manager.Your profile:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any Finance / Accounting related field.Minimum 3years of experience as Accountant within TPA or Insurance field.Working knowledge of recognized ERP system such as SAP or OracleExcellent knowledge of MS Office.Good interpersonal and communicational skills.Excellent command of the English & Arabic languageMeticulous attention to detailTeam playerOrganized and structuredSelf-starterMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in business administration or any Finance / Accounting related field.Minimum Experience:Minimum 3years of experience as Accountant within TPA or Insurance field.*Munich Re not only stands for fairness with regard to its clients; it is also an equal opportunities employer.
