The Security Operation Center (SOC) Analyst L2 will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing security incidents within the organization's network and systems. This role will require the analyst to effectively respond to and investigate security alerts, identify potential threats, and mitigate risks. The SOC Analyst L2 will also play a key role in incident response, including coordinating with stakeholders, documenting incidents, and implementing necessary measures to prevent future incidents. The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, knowledge of security tools and technologies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Responsibilities:- Monitor security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.- Analyze security incidents, determine their impact, and recommend appropriate actions.- Respond to security incidents by following established procedures and best practices.- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to coordinate incident response efforts.- Document security incidents, including their nature, impact, and resolution.- Perform regular security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.- Conduct research on emerging security threats and trends to stay updated on the latest threats and vulnerabilities.- Participate in the development and improvement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines.Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security tools and technologies.Requirements:- 3 Years of experience as a SOC analyst .- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.- Experience in analyzing security incidents and responding to security alerts.- Proficient in using security tools and technologies.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Good understanding of network protocols and network security concepts.- Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with stakeholders.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Experience with incident response tools and techniques.
