About The RoleThe Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies tailored to each target market within the 14 African countries, with a primary focus on Nigeria. This role requires a creative and analytical mindset, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Based in Dubai or GurgaonKey ResponsibilitiesMarket Research and Analysis:Conduct in-depth market research to understand consumer behaviour, preferences, and trends in each target market.Analyse competitive landscape and identify opportunities for differentiation and market positioning.Utilise market insights to inform marketing strategies and campaigns.Brand Development and Positioning:Develop and execute brand-building initiatives to establish the FINTEC App as a trusted and recognisable brand in the African financial services industry.Define and communicate brand messaging that resonates with target audiences across diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and touchpoints.User Acquisition and Growth:Drive user acquisition campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, influencer partnerships, and strategic alliances.Implement data-driven approaches to optimise user acquisition funnels, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition (CPA).Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Content Marketing and Social Media Management:Develop engaging and relevant content to attract and engage target audiences across social media platforms, blogs, email newsletters, and other digital channels.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create compelling multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and blog posts.Manage social media accounts, including content calendar planning, community engagement, and performance monitoring.Partnership Development and Relationship Management:Identify strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, businesses, and organisations to expand the reach and impact of the fintech App.Nurture and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and industry partners to drive mutual growth and advocacy.Collaborate with partners on co-marketing initiatives, joint campaigns, and promotional activities.Performance Analytics and Reporting:Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track marketing performance, including user acquisition metrics, campaign ROI, and customer engagement.Provide regular insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders based on data analysis and market feedback.Continuously optimise marketing strategies and tactics based on performance insights and industry best practices.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.Proven track record of 8+ years in marketing management roles, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.Thorough functional knowledge for Digital tools such as GA 360, Firebase, Google AdWords, Data Studio, Tableau, Slack, HubSpot, Appsflyr, DV360.Strong experience in using Excel, PowerPoint, & MySQL.Deep understanding of the African market landscape, with experience in multi-country marketing strategies.Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and metrics-driven decision- making.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and cultures.Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and entrepreneurship.Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to driving measurable business impact.Fluency in English; proficiency in additional languages spoken in African countries is a plus.
