Job Description
Responsibilities
Business Development and Growth
Growing the existing client business.
Thorough knowledge of the relevant market is critical and a track record evidencing the ability to grow such business through a focused and high-quality team.
Set overall vision and direction for the business, including a market segmentation strategy and a talent strategy.
Driving revenue and responsible for the entire team’s revenue goals.
Collaborates with stakeholders to achieve overall team revenues and growth objectives, drive initiatives to improve the team’s day-to-day.
The candidate will require a proven track record in working with Investments products and strategies suitable for UHNW individuals.
Close interaction with other Citi franchises with the goal of developing mutually beneficial business and client relationships.
Client Relationship Management
Proven track record with sales management, and in-depth understanding of clients’ businesses and sources of wealth generation.
Help clients achieve broad financial & investment goals related to the creation, management, and transfer of wealth.
Develop tailored solutions that address clients' unique investment, risk management, and financing/ liquidity needs.
Ensure clients are presented with seamless execution of internal processes and Citi services.
Team Leadership
Coach and guide team members and help them develop and share sales ideas across their and the wider team.
Help team members in executing their account plans by providing guidance and support on specific deals and clients.
Identify and attract top banker talent across the industry to join the team
Provide ongoing feedback to team members on their performance as well as the formal mid-year & year-end reviews.
Plan and prioritize daily, weekly, and monthly activities to maximize revenue growth and client satisfaction.
Establish a referral network and gain introductions to potential clients which generate new sales.
Establish a collaborative culture in the team and always partner with colleagues across the Citigroup network to leverage capabilities and share expertise.
Bring together the appropriate product experts to develop long-term solutions that strengthen client relationships with the firm.
Regulatory compliance & risk management
Ensures the team adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal policies and compliance frameworks.
Manage reputational and operational risks by overseeing adherence to the banks’ risk management guidelines, identifying, and working on specific queries related to the team’s clients.
Monitor market trends and changes in regulation, partners with functional teams to secure implementation.
Develop strong relationships and partners with support functions across the Citi Private Bank to maintain control, find solutions and resolve issues.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets.
Applies sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
Education
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
