The role involves the analysis and design of structural elements for a range of projects.
The successful candidate must demonstrate expertise in structural calculations, code compliance, and preparing high-quality design deliverables.
In joining Jacobs you will
Coordinate engineering design and calculations in compliance with international code of practice
Analyzing loads, forces, and stresses to ensure the stability and integrity of buildings and infrastructure
Coordinate structural/civil drawings, design analysis and calculations with senior engineer
Maintain a positive working relationship with team members and other disciplines
Collaborate with engineers to prioritize projects, workloads, and needs
Addressing design challenges and proposing innovative solutions
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering from a recognized university; Master’s degree is a plus.
3+ years of structural design experience in buildings and/or infrastructure projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia or the GCC.
Proficient in design software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, AutoCAD, Revit Structures, and MS Excel.
Strong knowledge of SBC, ACI, BS, Eurocodes, or other relevant design codes.
Familiarity with structural detailing and coordination with BIM platforms is preferred.
