MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To ensure that quality and safe patient care is delivered by co-ordinating and facilitating the management of clinical and non-clinical resources as well as support services in the facility
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Provide managerial and leadership guidance to all multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality and safe patient care during shift
To activate, co-ordinate and manage all clinical or non-clinical emergencies
To provide effective and efficient operational guidance and support in the absence of Unit Manager or Head of Department
To achieve the clinical quality according to set policies and procedures
To ensure positive patient experiences by developing employees and creating an environment that contributes to team engagement
Required Education
Essential: Bachelor of Nursing from a recognised Nursing Institute
Desired: Master of Science in Nursing or related Healthcare field
Required Experience
Essential: At least 3-5 years’ senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital
Required Job Skills And Knowledge
Application of the nursing scope of practice
Comprehensive knowledge of patient care across disciplines
Comprehensive knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications
Delivery of advanced nursing care in emergency or complicated situations
Financial management principles
Quality management and governance standards and best practice
Risk management principles, systems and best practice
Utilisation of relevant clinical equipment
Verbal and written communication skills in English
