Job Description
General Description of Role and Responsibilities
Review/comment on the Contractors Baseline Schedule and other schedules and report to the Controls Manager.
Implement and agree with Contractors on performance measurement criteria (e.g., Earned Value, Weightage, Commodities KPIs) and other schedules and report to the Controls Manager.
Review and continuously monitor, against approved schedules, the Contractor's major construction progress and ensure equipment and manpower are adequate.
Raise concerns and report any potential slippage and / or deviation from the critical and longest paths to the Project Controls Manager.
Review in detail the recovery schedules as submitted by the CONTRACTORS and ensure manpower and site supervision staff are increased properly.
Regular visits to project sites to validate whether the progress of work on SITE is complying with approved schedules, major milestones have been met and report deficiencies to Project controls and Construction Managers.
Assist the Project Controls Manage in Preparation of progress reports and dashboards as required by the client, including the integrated planning/scheduling contribution to the weekly / monthly project report and specific reports/presentations
Review all daily, weekly, and monthly reports as submitted by the Contractor and report to Controls Manager any deficiency or non-compliance.
Review Extension of Time claims submitted by the Contractor and conduct detailed delay analysis (Prospective or Retrospective), prepare full assessment report Contractor and report his assessment to Controls Manager.
Review field design changes and Trend Notices and assess time impact if any.
Advise the Construction Manager of any foreseen slippage of progress and corrective actions to be taken.
Attend weekly progress meetings and monthly Executive meetings and participate in preparing the agenda.
Reviews the commissioning plans as submitted by the CONTRACTOR and ensures its compliance with the approved Baseline schedule.
Standardizing processes for closing out and taking over stages of projects to ensure seamless transitions and client satisfaction.

Job Requirements
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
Should be qualified Engineer BSc or higher.
Relevant certifications such as PMP is preferred.
A qualified Engineer with a minimum of 12 to 15 years' experience Planning works in similar Projects.
Must be fully conversant with Primavera, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, etc.
