Senior Consultant - Health and Safety

WSP Middle East is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Consultant - Health and Safety in our UAE office.Your new role, what's involved?Conduct thorough assessments of workplace environments to identify potential hazards and risks. Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and internal teams on health and safety best practices. Collaborate with clients to create customized health and safety programs tailored to their specific needs. Conduct training sessions and workshops for employees and clients to promote awareness and adherence to health and safety protocols. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports with recommendations for prevention. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in health and safety practices. We'd love to hear from you if you have:Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. 6-10 years of proven experience working as a Health and Safety Consultant or in a similar role. Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Occupational Health and Safety Technician (OHST) are highly desirable. In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal health and safety regulations. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for data analysis and reporting.
