We’re entering an exciting phase of global expansion and rapid scaling, and we're seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accounting Manager in Abu Dhabi to help us manage accounting operations and reporting.Role Overview:As the Accounting Manager, you will work in a growing international Finance and Accounting team and will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-scaling SaaS startup. You will manage Accounts Payable, Treasury and General Ledger. You will also support month-end close and external accountants and tax advisors tasks. It is a hands-on role requiring accounting experience and knowledge and excellent attention to detail. This role will be based out of Abu Dhabi and will report to the Accounting Manager in the USA. The role will require some working schedule flexibility to support US and European teams.Role And ResponsibilitiesServe as the point of contact for all finance related matters in our Abu Dhabi as well as KSA subsidiariesSupport local and global teams with finance related inquiries and accounting duties as assigned Manage Accounts Payable: manage vendor records and vendor payments Manage Expense Reports: process employee expense reportsManage Payroll process: coordinate and submit payroll for processing to the payroll provider. Manage accounting in NetSuite, including EOM close tasks Work with Kounted (accounting partner) and tax advisors to prepare the entity for income tax reporting and all the local filing requirementsParticipate/drive internal projects and initiatives to improve effectiveness and efficiency of accounting operations internationally. Perform other duties as assignedQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMS in Accounting or Finance + CA is preferred (not required)5+ years of experience in accounting (AP, AR, General Ledger, reconciliations)Solid knowledge of debits and credits is a must!Proficient in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems, NetSuite is a strong plus)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience working in international organizations with the headquarters in USAExcellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as a part of a teamAbility to be flexible with schedule to accommodate overlapping hours with the global teamsStrong attention to detail and accuracyRequires residency in Abu DhabiThis role requires that you be based in Abu Dhabi or are willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
