About the role

You will support Egypt exhibitions , , & in bringing investors and buyers from around the region to enhance the presence of foreign, Egyptian and joint venture investments in the F&B, Agriculture, Pharma and Auto after market sectors in Egypt. Besides working on broadening existing client's scope to help widen their expansion or market reach.

Job Summary/Responsibilities

You will onboard an impressive cohort of investors and buyers for a program to include a lounge, a dedicated dinner, custom meetings and opportunities to connect with fellow members of the ecosystem. Your future KPIs will be aligned to bringing onboard the best and the brightest investors and buyers from around the region, that will help ensure the shows have the most impressive investor and buyers program cohort in Africa. You will keep in contact with these investors and buyers throughout the year, building a relationship, answering all queries, and meeting with them to convince them to become a part of the Program. All prospective and confirmed investors will be kept on a database that will be updated daily, for tracking and data purposes. Closer to the event, this would involve working with the logistical operations team to ensure: Tier 1 investors and buyers (from the top global firms) are well looked after (e.g., flights, accommodation, transport); and that all investors and buyers confirmed to attend are kept well informed about event details, such as badge collection, app downloads, venue location, and more.

You already have experience dealing with the investment community or are prepared to make connections very quickly upon onboarding. You have impeccable copy writing and people management skills.

Qualities and experience needed for the role

An interest in the global investment ecosystem. Experience dealing with investors and VCs, especially if relationships have already been established and cultivated. Proficient in the use of Microsoft office. Commercial awareness. A strategic approach to determine the shape our Investor Program. Copyright / marketing skills. Brand and market awareness. Stakeholders' management skills.

Skills required

You will work with marketing team to ensure that they represent your investors. You will identify global investors and ensure they align to the core values of our events. You will help ensure onboarded investors are high quality and the firms they represent are high value. You will be able to convince investors the benefits of attending and participating in our events You will do research across multiple platforms to ensure all investor information is up to date. You will have excellent communication skills to ensure investors are well looked after both in the pre-event run-up, and on site.
