Senior Petrophysicist I

Job Purpose Conduct comprehensive petrophysical studies and analyze by integrating logging tool responses, rock, fluid and production data for formation evaluation and reservoir surveillance. Job Responsibilities Acquire all petrophysical data interpretation techniques to produce reliable data, deliver safe operations by ensuring all subsurface uncertainties and risks are well communicated and considered by the Drilling and Engineering teams. Design and oversee core and fluid studies to enhance petrophysical models. Develop verifiable petrophysical models for incorporation into static and dynamic reservoir models for volumetric prediction and development planning. Evaluate new logging tools, data acquisition, and analysis procedures in terms of cost and technology. Asses all petrophysical interpretation including assumptions, parameters, and models used in building field development plans (FDPs). Ensure a clear documentation of different cases and its related uncertainties are in place. Supervise in-house and third-party petrophysical studies to be carried out on behalf of the company. Provide all petrophysical assessments of new venture opportunities. Support in building and maintaining basin scale prospect inventory and all required regional descriptions in cooperation with the Geological community Education Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Physics, Geophysics, or engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience with major or independent operating companies. International experience. Experience in 3D seismic interpretation of multi-layered clastic reservoirs in development and production geophysics.
