Testing & Qualification Lead (Ammunitions)

As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:The Testing & Qualification Manager shall be responsible for testing and qualification of products and components related to the department, overseeing the testing, taking care of the test execution, making all arrangements for the test, providing technical expertise in test means and instrumentation. The Manager is responsible to establish the procedures and lead the team to provide the required services with the maximum efficiency, safely, short lead time and maximiun quality, taking in consideration all technical aspects in the following areas at Halcon: Technical Lead Technical database and Support Research and Development Training and Evaluation Collaboration and Communication Key Accountabilities: Establish and enforce standards, processes, and methodologies to drive efficiency, consistency, and quality in all activities. Lead the team for test and evaluation of components and products, ensuring that all precautions were taken and the results are reliable; Drive the selection of appropriate technologies and instruments to perform test, be aligned with the latest technologies in the market; Conduct thorough risk assessments and support the implementation of risk mitigation strategies; Develop and maintain the technical database related to the field; Continuous research for solutions, technologies and market trends that can improve the services, reducing cost, enhancing reliability, reducing time, among others; Define and oversee the testing, test specification and procedures, product evaluation, ensuring compliance with specifications and performance requirements; Establish effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the Products portfolio; Experience & Education Qualifications: Expertise: Experience (Graduate with 4-6 Years of Experience) in the defense industry, Extensive experience in munitions testing and qualification standards. Good communication skills and capacity to lead and develop people; Minimum Qualification : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field, with proven experience on the subject. Defense Industry Expertise : The candidate should understand munitions testing, that includes but are not limited to arena tests, fragment recovery, environmental tests, among others. Technical Knowledge : Strong technical background in Ammunition Manufacturer and Designer, knowledge in testing and qualification of final products and components. Knowledge in standards and requirements. Familiarity with relevant safety and quality standards (e.g., MIL-STD, ISO, AS9100). Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) and simulation software.
