Your role:

• guidance in accordance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines and IFRS (international financial reporting standards)
• with the business units and functional groups on a broad spectrum providing technical accounting guidance and oversight for significant and complex accounting and reporting topics
• changes related to the reporting and accounting guidelines and help align key accounting processes with the changes
• and approve complex journal entries and account reconciliations

• Ensure accuracy of books and record by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and solution

• Coordinate on accounting and reporting issues with Zone/Hub

• Ensure that general accounting processes and function is in adherence to SIEMENS policies and IFRS
• Ensure transactions are recorded in conformance with IFRS and adequate internal controls are in place and in line with Siemens International Chart of Accounts
• Responsible for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid repeated issues
• Responsible for the preparation of local statutory financial statements as per the local requirements as well as tax returns (Corporate Tax, VAT, WHT etc.).
• Support quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and resolve queries from auditor
• Ensure month end closing process is executed smoothly.
• Coach , Supervise and Develop team members and elevate their skillset in order to address future Accounting and Finance challenges.

Your expertise:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from reputable institution
• Proven track record of relevant experience in public and non-public (Big 4 and industry Fortune 500)
• Strong Healthcare Sector knowledge
• Excellent communication / influencing skills
• Expertise in ERM and internal controls
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to details
• Strong problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities

• Previous experience and responsibility in areas such as supervising, training, and retaining competent accounting staff
