Job Description
- Supervise and support front desk staff in their daily tasks.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Schedule and manage front desk staffing to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates and expectations.
- Greet and assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Address and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly.
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and handle special requests efficiently.
- Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to fulfill guest needs.
- Oversee the front desk operations to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Manage reservations and room assignments.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of front desk supplies.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with billing and invoicing processes.
- Monitor and report on front desk revenue and occupancy rates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in front desk or hotel operations, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
