Always calculate all costs and unit economics (of the business, your time for the company, offers for clients).Always calculate the real cost of downtime from your inaction and your colleagues for the company and take actions to ensure there is no downtime (this applies to your decisions and inaction).Every employee should be a shareholder.Essential job functions:Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the company’s goals and target audience.Oversee the creation, production and distribution of high-quality content across various platforms and formats, including videos, articles, podcasts, social media posts, etc.Provide creative direction and vision to ensure that all content produced reflects the company’s voice, values and identity.Build and lead a team of content creators, including writers, videographers, designers, and editors, and provide guidance, mentorship and support to foster creativity and collaboration.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product development and customer service to ensure alignment of content efforts with overall business objectives and strategies.Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including engagement, reach and conversion rates, and using data-driven insights to optimize content strategies and improve outcomes over time.Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies and content formats to identify new opportunities for innovation and differentiation in content creation and distribution.Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.At least 3 years of experience in content creation, creative direction and digital marketing.
