Job Purpose

Contribute to implementing business intelligence and analytics solutions by leveraging data to identify opportunities for improvement, spot trends, and recognize potential issues using data to drive decision-making. Execute the analytics and advance insight-driven decision-making. Build advanced analytics, predictive analytics, data storytelling, KPIs, and AI to deliver insights, solutions, and recommendations to the company. Participate in the full lifecycle of an analytics or BI project, from gathering and understanding the requirements to creating and preparing the functional design, architecting the solution, and supervising the detailed technical design. Create bar charts, area charts, maps, scatterplots, pie charts, tree maps, and live data connections.

Key Accountabilities

Develop business requirements, assess current reporting capabilities, and make recommendations for improvement. Work with end users to design and build complex reports in BI tools Troubleshoot data issues found in existing reports. Support and facilitate testing with end users. Build data sets (cubes, grids), metrics, and attributes to support report requests. Analyze and build complex SQL queries. Design and manage underlying data sources to allow quick and efficient data extracts to support analysis. Develop the suitable analytics logic to meet business needs, support their decisions, and enable them to achieve a competitive advantage. Participate in implementing the BI strategy for retail and corporate in accordance with the company objectives. Coordinate and collaborate with the company’s software suppliers to make recommendations and propose software products and services to support the business. Design, build, and deploy BI solutions in data warehouses, data engineering, data reporting, and advanced analytics. Makes predictions about future outcomes using historical data combined with statistical modeling, data mining techniques, and machine learning. measuring and analyzing data generated using mobile platforms for easy access by the executive team. Implement the right advanced analytical dashboards to help with better decision-making. Develop and update technical and training documentation for proper support transition and handover. process gaps, data issues, and external interface issues.

Skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a relevant field

Experience, skills, and competencies.

Four years’ experience in systems architecture and development methodologies. Experience with visualization software: Tableau, Power BI, Amazon, QlikView, etc. Background in data warehouse design. In-depth understanding of database management, the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework, and SQL queries. Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude. Very good knowledge in statistical analysis systems like SAS Enterprise Guide and minor. Preferable Technical Certifications (ITIL, PM, Bobj, etc.) Excellent verbal and written English skills. Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills; must be able to communicate.
