Job Title: Head of StrategyKey Responsibilities B) Client Engagement: C) External Relations: D) Team Development: E) Internal Processes and Compliance: Financial Management:Define, assess, and monitor the progress of organizational strategies.Lead initiatives related to both organic and inorganic growth.Conduct financial modeling for opportunities and develop value realization plans.Collaborate with Finance to establish and track business unit budgets and targets.Monitor and analyze Business Area Joint and Individual Group Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Stay updated on local and national economic and business trends.Formulate strategies to address complex technical challenges.Oversee quantitative analysis and ensure quality assurance of findings.Support in the management and delivery of large-scale projects.Interpret market and digital trends to develop actionable plans.Demonstrate effective leadership and influence management skills, fostering a culture of innovation.Spearhead special projects and ensure their alignment with organizational objectives.Monitor project execution to ensure alignment with strategic goals.Maintain awareness of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic/geopolitical trends.Drive initiatives aimed at enhancing financial services accessibility, education, and innovation, in compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., Open Banking, Investment opportunities).Contribute to enhancing the capabilities of the Strategy function through activities such as recruitment, training, and knowledge management.Foster the technical acumen of the team to support strategic initiatives effectively.Establish and oversee appropriate governance bodies and procedures.Ensure full compliance with Anti-Fraud, Whistleblowing, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies and practices, including training and reporting.Reporting StructureReports to Group Head of Strategy & Digital Transformation.Purpose/Overview:Support the Group Head in designing, building, and executing corporate and digital strategies to achieve business objectives such as market share, profitability growth, and enhanced client experience.Develop differentiating capabilities to outperform competitors within the banking sector.Qualifications/Capabilities:Education: Postgraduate degree from a top-tier university in Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science. A Master's degree or MBA is highly advantageous.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Blue Chip Tier 1 consulting, with a majority of the experience in Financial Services and exposure to multiple industries.Skills/Attributes: Strong people management, research, analytical, communication, negotiation, financial analysis, planning, and development skills. Well-exposed to the latest technologies and proficient in financial controlling.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):Execution of corporate and digital strategy.Deviation from Annual Operating Plan (AOP) budgets.Increase in Book Value Share Price.Operating cost to Operating income ratio.Return on Equity.Progress towards Digitization Plan.Completion of Group-wide Strategy/Marketing and Public Relations initiatives.
