As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:As a Scientist in the Munitions Department at Halcon, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development, design, research, testing, and production of missiles and weapons. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate as a scientist with limited experience to contribute to innovative projects and gain valuable skills in the defense industry. Key Accountabilities: Design Support: Assist engineers in the development and refinement of missile and weapon energetic materials requirement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design changes and improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new designs when qualified. Testing Assistance: Support the planning and execution of missile and weapon chemical tests. Adhere to safety regulations at all times. Shadow senior engineers and lab technicians to learn how to handle and test Energetic materials at lab scale. Assist in the analysis of test data and contribute to the identification of performance enhancements. Elaborate test report Participate in live-fire tests and evaluations under the guidance of experienced personnel. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of design changes, test results, and project progress. Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing project activities. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to munitions engineering. Engage in training and development activities to enhance technical skills. Experience & Education Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Strong academic performance and a passion for missile and weapon system development. Basic understanding of engineering principles and design processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to delivery requirements on time, understanding schedule and priorities #HALCON
