As well, we are faster and more flexible in meeting customer requirements.Job Summary:As an Engineer 1 within the Ammunitions Department at Halcon, you will be responsible for supporting the design, testing, and production activities related to ammunition products. You will collaborate with experienced engineers and technicians to contribute to the success of ammunition projects. Key Accountabilities: Assist in the design and development of ammunition components and systems under the guidance of senior engineers. Conduct tests, experiments, and analyses to evaluate the performance and reliability of ammunition prototypes. Document test results, observations, and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement efforts. Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including troubleshooting issues and implementing corrective actions. Participate in cross-functional teams to address design challenges, meet project milestones, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Assist in the review of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation related to ammunition projects. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials, components, and equipment for ammunition development and production. Contribute to the implementation of safety procedures, protocols, and best practices to maintain a secure working environment. Experience & Education Qualifications: Expertise: Minimum of 1 year of experience in engineering roles, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry. Minimum Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. Defense Industry Expertise : Basic understanding of ammunition systems, design principles, and manufacturing processes. Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. #HALCON
