Job Description
for our next generation of innovative automotive systems in a global and multicultural environment for a world-class
manufacturer.
The candidate will join the design team behind the new FOTA architecture. The candidate will lead the specification
definition of the offboard components in the architecture of the feature, and will be responsible for:
• Authoring System Design and Software Specifications
• Reviewing technical specifications and implement relevant technical standards for FOTA systems and vehicle
network communications
• Requirements/Specification elicitation and management
• Prepare documentation and presentation material to effectively communicate technical subject
• Define deliverables / timing & manage them through to completion
RequirementsRequired Skills:
At least 5 years’ experience working in systems
engineering
Technical knowledge and experience of software
requirements authoring.
Industry experience, preferably in product development
for Software or Systems Engineering.
Extensive knowledge of Cloud technologies (GCP or MS
Azur), Vnext, MQTT, rest-API, event-HUB or http/https
communication methods
Extensive knowledge of FOTA
Desired Skills:
Experience in Automotive
Experience in database management (Azure Storage will
be appreciated)
Knowledge in cybersecurity and authentication
protocols
MBSE modelisation using UML/SysML
Knowledge on the following tools or similar:
• MagicDraw
• Doors
• JIRA
