What We’re Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Other relevant Certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCNA, MCSA) are a Plus.
- A proven track record in an Information Technology role, preferably in the Hospitality Industry, with a focus on Systems Administration, Network Management, and User Support.
- Strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure, including servers, networks, telecommunications, security systems, and peripheral devices.
- Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting Hardware, Software, and Network Issues, with a solid understanding of operating systems, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Previous experience with Information Technology Project Management, including Planning, Implementation, and Evaluation, with the ability to adeptly manage Multiple Projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with using Hotel Management, Property Management and Point-of-Sale Systems, and Guest Service Technologies, is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leveraging strong verbal and written skills to engage effectively with Guests, FIVE Tribe Members, and stakeholders.
- Superior Problem-Solving Skills and the competence to Exceed Expectations in dynamic and competitive operational environments.
- Next-Level Organisational and Leadership skills, effectively leading and inspiring the FIVE Tribe to New Heights.

- Collaborates with the IT Manager to meticulously Plan, Organise, and Direct the activities of the hotel's Information Technology Team, ensuring strict adherence to Policies, Procedures, and Service Level Agreements, maintaining a seamless operational flow.
- Assists in the Systematic Management and Upkeep of the hotel's state-of-the-art Information Technology infrastructure, encompassing Servers, Networks, Telecommunications Systems, and Peripheral Devices.
- Liaises with various Departments to discern their bespoke Technology Requirements, crafting and delivering ‘FIVE-Star’ solutions to enhance operational efficiency and elevate guest experiences.
- Provides prompt and effective Technical Support and Troubleshooting for Hardware, Software, and Network-related Issues, catering to the needs of Guests and fellow ‘FIVERs.’
- Contributes to the Procurement, Installation, and Configuration of new Information Technology systems, equipment, and software applications, ensuring seamless Integration, Compatibility, and stringent Adherence to Security Standards.
- Safeguards the Security and Integrity of FIVE’s data and information systems through robust Backups, regular System Updates, and Next-level Cybersecurity Measures, maintaining confidentiality and trust.
- Assists in the Management of Information Technology projects, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations, while adhering accurately to project timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.
- Facilitates the Training and Education of our FIVE Tribe on Information Technology Systems, Applications, and Security Protocols, offering guidance and support for technology adoption and utilisation.
- Monitors and Analyses Information Technology Performance Metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing visionary measures to Optimise Systems and ensure Industry-Leading Efficiency.
- Stays abreast of cutting-edge Industry Trends, Pioneering Technologies, and Best Practices, Championing a Culture of Continuous Improvement and Innovation within the Information Technology Team.
