Machining and Design Engineer - Siemens Energy, Ain el Sokhna Egypt

How you’ll make an impact?Developing special tools and fixtures required with CAD CAM programs.Prepare and design manufacturing steps.Lead and plan the shop machining operations to ensure the on-time-delivery of customer parts.Verify CNC programs are in accordance with the required drawings, specifications, and quality system.Support and manage conventional machining /grinding tasks.Study customer parts and generate cost calculations with time study.Tool selection and Raw material selection.Inspecting parts for quality achievement according to Protocols.Prepare all protocols and documentation related to jobs WI, SOPs, Risks.Ability to drive continuous improvement in CNC machining operations, including ability to train on advanced machining techniques.Reduction of non-conformities and defects by proper RCA tools.Maintain manufacturing workflow daily by reviewing jobs, requirements, troubleshooting, and problem solving.Support the planned quality system goals / improvements & productivity goals / improvements within the scope of the job.What you bring?Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial & Production Eng.2-5 years' experience in a relevant mechanical R&D and manufacturing environment.Experience with mechanical modeling software Siemens NX CAD /Inventor / SOLIDWORKS programs.Experience with CNC CAM software and post processing.Experience with conventional machining, programming and operating CNC mills, muti-axis machining centers, Laser.Able to prioritize tasks and to manage workloads in an effective manner with minimal direct supervision and flexibility in managing multiple and diverse tasks.Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in time critical situations.Strong commitment to internal customer needs.Sensitive and responsive to the needs of different religious, ethnic, tribal, and cultural groups.Ability to work with flexible operational hours.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.Experience with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Project, and Outlook.
