Be ready to make your mark a top company, in an exciting & dynamic industry.Job DescriptionTo manage and grow client business for Sovereign Wealth Funds & Family Offices; originate mandates by conducting market and industry analysis. Propose existing product offerings to clients and explore new products to fulfil clients’ financial needs. Build a strong understanding of the organisation of the client and connectivity across verticals and levels. Identify and develop business opportunities, drive presentations and maintain contact with client at an increasingly senior level; improve service quality levels and supervise day-to-day activities and deal flow by giving strong support focus to relationship management and client interactions; ensure that the team’s objectives are constantly met and its revenue targets achieved, while maintaining client satisfaction and portfolio credit quality; anticipate potential problems and consistently generates innovative solutions; manage and lead junior team members.Strategic ContributionEnsure effective cascading of the functional strategy into department business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies.Work with MDs to develop the team’s strategy and business plan with the aim of increasing the Bank’s share of the target clients’ wallet and achieving target relationship returns.Keep close interaction with Product teams, and other stakeholders, to maximise business opportunities with clients, and to streamline execution of deals and strategies.Use Investment Banking product knowledge to strategically contribute to teams revenue targets.People ManagementContribute to talent development initiatives for the assigned department, collaborating with technical/discipline experts and thereby ensure the availability of talent to fit business requirements.Act as a role model and drive adherence to organizational values and ethics by employees of the assigned department to foster a value driven culture within the Group.Budgeting And Financial PlanningManage P&L responsibility of the assigned portfolio, achieving targets within defined budget levels.Policies, Systems, Processes & ProceduresManage and ensure effective implementation of the CIB functional policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of assigned department activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements, fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.Client And Market AnalysisParticipate in the financial analysis conducted on clients and their respective industries/ markets to identify potential opportunities and risks.Client Relationship ManagementOriginate new business opportunities with target clients across banking products.Develop and execute Term Sheet, Information Memorandum, financial modelling, mandate letter…. etc.;Examine & resolve credit, market and operational risk aspects of the transactions in collaboration with products and enablement units.Pitch, review, negotiate and conclude deals.Motivate, Develop and Coach team members.Maintain the credit quality of the clients' relationships within the Portfolio to an acceptable level set by the Bank’s management.Achieve individual and team financial performance targets.Identify & develop cross selling opportunities and increase the cross-sell ratio with key clients.Ensure Account Plans are prepared and maintained for all key clients.Ensure all clients’ files /documents are maintained.Ensure all credit reviews are submitted on time and agreed conditions are met.Maintain a satisfactory audit on the portfolio. Learning & Development – Attend appropriate on and off-the-job training programs and ensure development and skill upgradation of team members.Ensure that all internal processes for existing portfolio and NTBs are met in line with the Bank’s policies & procedures.Adhere to process KPI’s and, ORM, BCP & Internal Audit requirementsDay-to-Day ActivitiesAssist the Sector Head in the day-to-day administrative and transactional activities to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high quality outputs.Manage and follow up on KYC and compliance requirements in order to ensure consistency with the Bank’s KYC and AML policies and regulatory requirements.Policies, Systems, Processes, And ProceduresFollow all relevant policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.MIS And ReportsReview and Analyse financial statements, MIS and reports to keep track of performance vs. budgets.QualificationsMinimum Qualification:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business administration, economics, finance, accounting or related disciplineMinimum ExperienceAt least 10+ years of relevant Corporate and Investment Banking work experience including M&A, global and capital markets (debt and equity) transactions, structured finance, fund financing and transaction bankingPrevious experience covering global sovereign wealth funds or Middle Eastern family officesKnowledge, Skills, And AttributesSolid knowledge and understanding of the GCC SWFs and Family Offices sectorStrong knowledge of CIB products (structured finance, fund financing, global markets, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, transaction banking, etc.)Driven and capable of delivering results while working under pressure and adjust quickly to changing market environmentDiligent and committed to excellenceAttention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks and sound organization of workExcellent computer skillsStrong analytical and numerical skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and teamwork skills
