Job Description
- Ensure the proper operation and control of the Workshop productivity, Efficiency and Labor Utilization to all Periodic Maintenance Services and General Job Operations.
- Enforce and implement all policies, procedures and systems of workshop operations based on Toyota Customer Service Workshop Management (TSM).
- Promote Employees Satisfaction (ES) by acknowledging good performance and motivate staff thru coaching and training and establish good leadership to boost their morale.
- Conduct periodical meeting and monthly Kaizen meetings with Workshop personnel aside from weekly operation meetings to discuss work related issues and improvements.
- To be responsible for the health and safety and welfare of staff and customers in the workshop.
- Promote Fix-It-right, first time principle inside the workshop.
- Help in promoting Environmental Health and Safety in the Workshop by implementing Dealer Environment Risk Audit Program (DERAP).
- Develop plans and programs for workshop improvements thru kaizen activities
- Ensure workshop staff is properly trained for the work by having on the job training and correction and create an advance formal training courses schedule.
- Liase with the Equipment and Facility group to monitor and control the cost for maintenance & repair of the Workshop, according to procedures and budgets. Collect the monthly inventory results for monitoring and record.
- Ensure vehicles are serviced, maintained and repaired to a high standard, and supervises and assists in the workshop floor for all difficulty repairs and diagnosis.
- Monitor 5S as per TMC standards
