Job summary

MISSION:

Responsible for managing all aspects of civil engineering projects, from conception to completion, with a focus on delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and the Client.

TASKS:

Leading the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, highway, and other infrastructure projects; Conducting site assessments, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to inform project planning and decision-making processes; Developing detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor project progress to ensure adherence to timelines and financial targets; Coordinating with internal teams, subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals, permits, and clearances; Managing project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and productivity; Overseeing the preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, and other project documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulations; Overseeing quality control inspections and field surveys to verify compliance with design plans and specifications; Providing technical support and guidance to project team members, resolving technical issues and facilitating problem-solving activities; Communicating regularly with clients, stakeholders, and project sponsors to provide updates on project status, address concerns, and manage expectations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects; Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and standards; Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera; Experience with AutoCAD or other engineering design software is desirable; Fluent level of written and spoken English.
