Job Description

Roles and ResponsibilitiesKey ActivitiesPlanning and Strategyto the development of the Department’s strategic plan and roadmap including objectives and initiativesDepartment performance objectives and indicators and continuously monitor progressto the achievement of DHC’s strategy, objectives and KPIs within the accountabilities of Departmentregular reports on Department’s progress and outputs to be shared with relevant stakeholders in line with reporting requirementsBudget Managementto the development of Department’s yearly budget ensuring alignment to plans and needs and provide input on DHC’s budgeting processeffective utilization of Department’s budget and report accurately on progress made and challenges encounteredClinical Engineeringand endorse Clinical Engineering annual planclinical engineering SLAsthe preventive maintenance of biomedical equipmentequipment assessments and maintenance by accessing database, and ensure efficient operation of biomedical assetsreports highlighting performance and issues pertaining to clinical engineeringEngineering Servicesand endorse Engineering Services annual plan including operations and maintenance (i.e., utilities, preventive maintenance of non-medical equipment, etc.)status of Facilities’ non-medical assets and provide input regarding equipment lifecycle, disposal, and replacementfunctionality of utility services and facilitate collaboration with government entitiesreports on performance and provide plan of corrective action as neededSafety and Security Servicesand endorse Safety and Security annual plansafety and security services are provided in line with preset SLAs and within standards and guidelinesCateringand endorse Catering annual plancatering services are provided in line with preset SLAs and within standards and guidelinesTransportation and Housingand endorse Transportation and Housing annual planRFPs and ensure that selected vendors align with requirementsrent prices, vehicle maintenance, and security of housingEnvironmental Servicesand endorse Environmental Services annual planRFPs and ensure that selected vendors align with requirementsEnvironmental Services activities and ensure adherence to hygiene standards in housekeeping, and safe/infection-free transportation of wastesPeople Managementcommitment, motivation and enthusiasm to team goals and guide team members through periods of change or uncertainlyclear direction, prioritize tasks, assign and delegate responsibility and monitor the workflowto employee performance management, and provide formal and informal feedback in order to support professional development and maximize performanceJob Qualifications and RequirementsKnowledge and Experience15+ years of relevant experience is required with 5+ years in a managerial role is preferredEducation and CertificationsBachelor Business, Engineering, or related field is requiredMaster in Business or related field is requiredMBA is preferred
