Data Scientist/AnalystLocation:AlUla, Saudi Arabia – Full-time on-siteJob Role:Data Collection: Gather data from various sources within the school, such as student records, assessment results, attendance logs, and feedback surveys.Data Cleaning and Preparation: Cleanse and organize raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency. This may involve identifying and rectifying errors, missing values, and inconsistencies in data sets.Data Analysis: Analyze student performance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making. This includes assessing student progress, identifying areas for improvement, and evaluating the effectiveness of teaching methods and curriculum.Reporting: Prepare reports and visualizations using Power BI to present findings to client, school administrators and teachers. Predictive Modeling: Utilize statistical techniques and predictive modeling to forecast student outcomes, such as success rates, and retention rate.Program Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of our programs and interventions by analyzing data on student outcomes and programmatic activities. This involves assessing the impact of instructional approaches, curriculum changes, and support services on student learning and achievement.Find ways to automate reporting through cooperation with Salesforce team. Find ways to improve data collection.Establish QA systems to ensure quality of data and reports.Familiarity with CRM systems. Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) and proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating data stored in relational databases.Proficiency in statistical methods and tools is crucial for interpreting data and drawing meaningful insights. Knowledge of probability, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques is essential. Proficiency in programming languages commonly used for data analysis such as Python, R, SQL, or Julia. These languages are used for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.Full proficiency at Microsoft Excel.
