Description:Johnson and Johnson MedTech Digital is recruiting for a Global Head of Digital & Data Operations – based across J&J Medtech sites in the United States or EMEA.At Johnson & Johnson MedTech, we are working to solve the world’s most pressing healthcare challenges through innovations at the intersection of biology and technology. The MedTech Surgery organization was recently established to combine Ethicon’s market-leading surgical portfolio with the Robotics & Digital Solutions portfolio. The MedTech Surgical organization is comprised of: Wound Closure & Healing and Biosurgery, Endo Mechanical and Energy, OTTAVA (Surgical Robotics), MONARCH (Flexible Robotics), and MedTech Digital.This individual will have responsibility for working with and alongside leaders within the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Digital team and across Johnson & Johnson MedTech. This role will report directly to the Global Head, MedTech Digital. As the Global Head of Digital & Data Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data operations and digital process optimization within the organization. Your role will involve developing and implementing strategies to extract value from operational data, enhance process simplicity, and deliver operating rigor across all teams.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic plans and initiatives to drive operational excellence and optimize processes across all functions and regions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, finance, sales, and marketing, to identify opportunities for process optimization. Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, scalability, and agility of our operations, leveraging digital technologies, automation, and data-driven decision-making processes. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track operational performance and drive continuous improvement efforts. Identify strategic partnerships and alliances to enhance our operational capabilities and expand our global footprint. Define and implement data governance policies, standards, and best practices to ensure the efficient management, quality, and utilization of data across the organization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality, accuracy, and completeness throughout the data lifecycle. Evaluate and select data management tools and technologies to support scalable and efficient data operations. Partner with IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure the security and integrity of data assets and systems. Build and operate Data Annotation and Curation centers globally in a multi-model approach Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to operations and data management professionals to support their growth and developmentQualifications: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Finance/Insurance, Engineering is required. Advanced degree is preferred. Proven experience (12+ years) in data operations, analytics, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Experience with global operations and managing diverse teams across multiple regions and cultures. (internal and outsourced resources) Strong understanding of data management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Deep understanding of digital technologies, automation tools, and process optimization methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage projects, and drive results. Experience working in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, energy). Proven track record of driving operational excellence and process improvement initiatives. Experience with change management and driving cultural transformation. Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute long-term digital operations strategies.Other: This position can be based out of J&J Medtech sites in the United States or EMEA and may require up to 30% travel, international and domestic. The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $163,000 to $282,900.
