Academic Naval Studies Instructor Maths & PhysicsGrade: 6Location: Jubail, Saudi ArabiaJOB PURPOSEBAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Naval Forces ships and train RSNF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their ships and equipment.The post holder will be responsible for delivering Maths & Physics within the Academic Naval Studies department at King Fahad Naval Academy (KFNA) Jubail. This is a multi-purpose role and the post holder will also be expected to deliver aspects of Naval Safety and leadership. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESThe post holder is responsible for:· delivering the ANS curriculum,· supporting invigilation activities for assessments,· supporting remedial training activities,· writing assessment materials,· supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media,· writing cadet reports as required to meet customer requirements, The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute integrity and professionalism.The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by their line manager, which aligns with Company business. RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATIONEssentialThe post holder must:· hold a minimum of IELTS 5.0 for non-native English language. Speakers must provide speaking and listening band score at 5.· hold a recognized Level 3, or higher, qualification in Engineering· hold a teaching qualification, such as BEd or PGCE or government recognition as a teacher or have successfully completed a military Defence Train the Trainer or UKG approved instructional techniques course (RFQF Level 3) or Saudi equivalent· Extensive experience of teaching mathematics and physics.
