And that’s where you come in.Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-Site)Our Deployment team in Hitachi Rail GTS Saudi Arabia is growing!The Installation Technician is responsible for performing installation, assembly, and commissioning tasks related to railway systems, equipment, and infrastructure.What will your responsibilities be?Carry out the installation and assembly of railway systems, components, and equipment according to engineering drawings and project specifications. Align and position equipment, ensuring proper fit and function. Assist in the commissioning of installed systems by conducting functional tests and verifying proper operation. Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to troubleshoot and address any issues. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing installation activities. Ensure that installations meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Set up and configure control panels, electrical connections, and communication systems as required by the installation plan. Perform cable routing, termination, and labeling as necessary. Operate hand and power tools, testing equipment, and specialized tools required for installation tasks. Ensure that tools and equipment are properly maintained and used safely. What are we looking for?High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred. Previous experience in installation, assembly, or technical roles, preferably within the railway or transportation sector. Basic understanding of railway systems, equipment, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for assembly and installation tasks. Safety-conscious mindset and adherence to safety protocols.
