Quotation Engineer

Our solutions improve our customers business profitability and we have established our role as a trusted partner in pulp and paper and energy industries and are very proud of what we do.The Quotation Engineer is responsible for providing technical and commercial quotation support on Valmet Flow Control products for Valmet Sales Offices on behalf of Saudi Plant. Also, leading the QPLANs & responsible for internal order coordination. He / She must be an expert in customer standards & specifications of Valves Industry such as Aramco & Sabic. He / She shall be in line with our localization plans. He / She is responsible for their own safety and must respect EHS regulations.Your mainly activities will be:Take care of all quotation support activities coordinating with global COE team & Valmet factories for Saudi Plant based on Dammam 2nd Industrial City. He / She gathers details of the specifications from Sales & Application Engineers on daily basis & coordinate with the planning/order management team for the most effectiveness and maintain appropriate records aligned with Valmet policies.Additionally, your activities include:Comply with Valmet safety standards & ensure the safety of the team working around.Responsible to support sales offices & sales support teams during quotation & order stage.Handle support requests to prepare technical quotations in sales phase, including technical solution, costing, and pricing calculations, and factory delivery time definition.Communicate with Global COE team to clarify the technical requirements in the quotation. Work with internal teams e.g. customer order engineering, product lines, Global factories to get the lead time and price information.Response quotation within the targeted lead times.  Providing optimal technical & delivery solution to sales offices.Pro-active information to the Sales Support team for deliveries and possible deviations for offers.Coordinate with Valmet valve factories network globally for lead time improvement.Coordinate the order engineering phase in order phase.Responsible for order change and revision request & follow the defined flow control business process.Coordinate all QPLANs & NMR documentations.Coordinates with the Planning/Order Management for order executions.Manage weekly calls with Sales offices & Global COE Team & follow up.Maintain clean records and archiving system.Drive cost saving/ lead time improvements plans by designing the right approach when applicable.Take necessary actions to improve customer satisfaction and meet the business targets. Managing day -to-day work related challenges / issue and meeting the organizational targets.Raise any obstacles/related issues in management weekly meeting.Any other duties as assigned.What you will need to be successful in the role:You shall be an experienced professional – if you like to be one of the focal contacts of Saudi Plant managing different types of valves & actuators business, please apply!To be successful in this role, you will need in addition:Relevant educational background such as “Engineering Degree” in Instrumentation/Automation/Mechanical Engineering.Oil & Gas valve industry field experience is a must.Experience in Sabic/Aramco & its JVs Specifications is a plus.Experience in Valve industry Localization is a plus.Ability to work under pressure in different operations situations and in different cultural environments.Passion for delivering best results and collaborating with your colleagues.Fluent in English.
