Principal Directors are seen as Thought Leaders specialized in the industry / sub-industry / practice they lead. They typically manage large programs with clients. They are normally seasoned industry experts, and are expected to lead innovative and pathbreaking engagements in the industry.

They manage / lead multiple medium to large projects or programs within a client environment. They are accountable for delivering projects and meeting client and Accenture objectives. They typically interface with C-suite stakeholders at the clients. While they don’t formally carry business development targets, they are expected to contribute to the development of $3M - $5M new business in a year – either with a dedicated client account, or in a specific area of focus (eg: Public Safety).

Skills and Qualifications:

•     Overall, 10 years’ + experience with at least 4 years+ of relevant industry, functional and/or strategy experience.

•     Public Sector experience including one or more of: Education, Social services, Citizen Services, Administrative Services, Health, Customer and Border Protection, Policing, Investments, and Development.

•     Experience in other sectors such as Not for Profit, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Telecom, are also welcome.

Experience in operating model design, strategy formulation, digital transformation, Beneficiary experience, impact assessment, monitoring, and evaluation. 

Preferred Qualifications:

•     Outstanding academic track record with continued interest in learning and growing professionally.

•     A high degree of quantitative skills to develop financial or operational models and conduct data analysis.

•     Strong analytical skills, understands complex issues, quickly absorbs information, excels in conceptual and creative problem solving.

•     Digitally savvy; curious and passionate about technology, understands its impact on business and society.

•     Driven; enjoys a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, determined and optimistic.
