Senior Telecom Engineer (Rail) - MENA Region

EWI are supporting a leading consultancy firm specialising in the development and management of prestigious rail projects across the MENA region, who are currently seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer to join their team and oversee telecommunications activities for a high-speed rail project.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of telecommunications infrastructure.Contribute to the technical coordination of integrating telecommunications systems within the overall project framework.Engage actively in all project phases, including design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover.Monitor and assess the efficiency of Contractor processes and procedures.Ensure strict adherence to project requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.Conduct technical and commercial evaluations of Contractor submissions, Change Requests, and variations.Prepare and distribute reports for management, clients, and stakeholders as required.RequirementsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.Minimum of 12 years of overall experience.Experience in management and implementation of similar projects, preferably in a similar position.Strong expertise in installation supervision, T&C of all telecom works.Regional experience is preferred.LanguageEnglishKey Words / SEO Rail, Railway, telecom, telecommunication, T&C, testing, commissioning, HSR, high speed rail, Systems Engineering, Rail Systems, Senior Consultant, Senior Requirements, Consulting Engineering, Global Engineering, Consultancy, Middle East, MENA, EgyptClosing Statementewi is an international consultancy focused on the search & selection of the World's leading engineering and construction professionals.
