Risk Management Officer (SCA - UAE based)

We deliver only the best, so we are always in search of the best people to join our ever-growing talent team.We are currently looking for a Risk Management Officer (SCA - UAE-based) to join our global team and work closely with our UAE Head.Responsible for evaluating and mitigating risks that may arise before the Company when carrying out the financial activities.The Risk Management Officer shall perform the tasks of specifying and evaluating potential risks for the Company that may arise out of the operational factors therein. Moreover, this role shall make suitable decisions for handling the named risks if they arise along with observing them, reporting thereon, working to avoid them, and reviewing and updating the risks management documentation according to the financial activity of the Company, its purposes, and risks.Responsibilities:Own and conduct regular review of local risk documents including risk management framework, risk appetite statement and other risk related policies and documentationDay to day monitoring, reporting and management of entity risks as per the risk management framework (e.g. credit risk, liquidity risk, capital adequacy risk, operational risk etc.) Work alongside group stakeholders in the 2nd line risk and compliance teams and 3rd line audit team to ensure adequate controls, risk mitigants and best practicesDesign & implement KRIs and risk MI for local managementOversight, monitoring and reporting of adherence to local regulatory capital and liquidity requirementsRisk SME regarding regulatory submissions and risk data/information requests Operational risk events monitoring, escalation and reportingWork with Group risk team to conduct RCSAs and embed risk management culture and awareness by building relationships with key stakeholders across the business and delivering local risk training where requiredMonitoring of regulatory risk change/current and emerging risks for any entity level impactProject work and ad hoc risk analysis as requiredBuild partnerships with key stakeholders including trading team, legal and financeRequirements:A University Degree and at least 5 years of experience in financial markets or related fields; orA diploma or less and at least 10 years of experience in the financial markets or related fields; orAt least 5 years of experience in financial markets or related fields, while holding any of the alternative qualifications described below:Master Financial Risk Manager (FRM);Master Financial Controller;Certified Internal Auditor (CIA);Chartered Development Finance Analyst;Certified Management Accountant (CMA); orICA Specialist Certificate in Conduct RiskExcellent Arabic and English languages (both verbal and written)What you will get in return:Competitive SalaryInternational Team CollaborationState-of-the-art EquipmentGenerous Annual Leave PolicyEmployee Referral ProgramGreat office in a central locationComprehensive Private Medical InsuranceAnnual Global Performance Review CycleGreat Benefit SystemIf you believe you are the right fit for this position and would like to become part of our team please follow the link below to submit your application.Be a key player at the forefront of the digital assets movement, propelling your career to new heights!Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding company that values and rewards talent, initiative, and creativity.Work alongside one of the most brilliant teams in the industry.
