LocationDubai, AESummary The Graphic Designer will be responsible for leading all artwork and labeling management related tasks in order to ensure business plans are realized.Reports to Senior Product ManagerResponsibilitiesDrives implementation of new product packaging designs, redesign, on pack text updates etc.Works with Category/ markets, Product Management, design agencies and printers to develop, deliver, proofread and route all graphics through the approval flow Facilitates design agency and printer collaboration to ensure packaging graphics can be printed to meet the desired outcomeProvides guidance in terms of design colour conformance and expected performance on the materialOversees supplier proof/ chromaline approval process and collaborates with printers to request first packaging run samples needed to build and maintain packaging libraryAttends print runs as needed to ensure quality standards are being met and foster strong partner relationshipsDevelops dairy expertise for all domestic and international production sites related to printing capabilitiesDevelops knowledge of the Arla brand guidelines and ensures conformance across the portfolioDrives continues improvement by reviewing and streamlining the design across the portfolio/ markets and thus gaining synergies and consistencySupports with key visuals/ design developmentProvides recommendations on the Arla seasonal branding e.g. Ramadan, BTS etc.Leads the rollout and implementation of Artwork flow systems and training of internal and external stakeholdersWorks with design agencies, brand managers to create sell in materials, mock ups and decks as well as adapts content to support the tactical parts of campaignAdapt designs for E-com banners, leaflets design, outdoor design (billboards, lamp posts)Supports Corporate Communication team with creating videography for internal celebrations, LinkedIn posts creation, MENA newsletter and other tasks as requiredExamines existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilitiesResponsible for onboarding new printers and substrates with regards to process, timeline and education of key stakeholders/customersRequirementsDegree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts or related field Five or more years of experience in professional graphic design, with three years preferably in a FMCG business/ creative or marketing agencyProficiency in Arabic & English language (both written and spoken)Proficiency in design software, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Java ScriptPhotography experience and proficiency with photo-editing softwareHigh level of creativity and innovative design skillsA keen eye for aesthetics and detailsMust have excellent organizational skills , attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, changing environment Must have excellent interpersonal and follow-up skills Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to learn other software programs We have a purpose for GoodAt Arla, we strive to unlock the highest potential in each other while working together to create a sustainable future of dairy.
