Job Description
The Key Account Specialist is responsible for achieving the sales goals and KPIs of the assigned product portfolio, contributing to the overall Roche Diabetes Care commercial performance of Middle East & Africa, and the sub-region/Country objectives. The role drives business success, based on product innovation and high medical value promotion, provides knowledge and support to customers while maximizing opportunities on channel filling. All of these responsibilities are performed according to Roche Code of Conduct and compliance regulations.
Your Responsibilities
Achieve the sales required in the area of responsibility
Promote the assigned product portfolio, in line with the strategy
Implement the activities and strategies defined, to achieve the sales targets, gain market share and meet the related strategic KPIs
Identify new opportunities on the assigned products within existing and new clients to expand the business and ensure channel-filling
Ensure ongoing interaction and communication with customers, coordinating the market visits with the line manager
Maintain up-to-date knowledge on the product portfolio and intended use, proactively searching for market information, competitive developments, and transferring them to the Sales teams, in alignment with Marketing
Implement sales cycles as needed while assuring good knowledge of the content
Communicate on-label medical information to clients
Ensures activity planning/reporting and mapping using Salesforce.com, keeping data updated, and ensure that all administration is completed in a timely and accurate manner

Study and participate in internal and external programs on topics relevant to areas of responsibility as well as areas of personal development
Seek out ways to apply new information and skills to area of responsibility

Who You Are
You hold a BSc degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, Nutrition, Nursing, or related
You built a minimum of 3 to 4 years or relevant Sales and/or Marketing experience in Pharmaceutical or medical devices industry. Sales experience in Diabetes Care therapeutic area will be preferred
You are customer centric and are able to analyze to understand the unmet medical needs
You are proactive and passionate in following up with HCP/KOL’s and other external decision makers
You built advanced interpersonal, relationship building, communication and presentation skills
You are resulted oriented and are able to demonstrate the value of the Roche Diabetes Care products
You built advanced negotiation skills, are able to apply logical reasoning and influence
You are able to work autonomously, solve problems and take decisions
You are focused, organized, and have good planning skills to plan your visits
You fluently speak and write in English and Arabic
You are flexible and eager to travel throughout Dubai and Northern Emirates region
