Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
- Lead delivery workstreams on projects in KSA.
- Define how the digital workstreams--Information Management, BIM, GIS, Data Analytics, and Automation--will respond to these challenges & support overall project delivery.
- Oversee the day-to-day execution of individual digital workstreams on projects. This involves coordinating the efforts of individual workstream managers & technical staff to ensure their work is effective, integrated, and addresses the project objectives.
- Evaluate and interpret the Employer’s information requirements on a given project.
- Design and manage the Common Data Environment (Bentley ProjectWise and Autodesk BIM360) including processes and procedures to enable reliable information exchange between Project Team Members and other parties.
- Manage Common Data Environment processes and procedures, validate compliance with them and advise on non-compliance. Delivering projects on CDE platforms such as BIM 360, ProjectWise, Aconex.
- Initiate, agree and implement the Project Digital Delivery Plans.
- Liaise with and co-operate with Project Team Members and, if required, the Employer in support of a collaborative working culture.
- Assist the Project Team Members in establishing information exchange processes, including: define and agree procedures for convening, chairing, attendance and responsibility for recording “information exchange process meetings”.
- Providing assistance to project teams in preparing bids with BIM requirements.
- Providing services to kick off a BIM enabled project including developing the BIM Execution Plan.
- Provide input into industry bodies regarding CAD & BIM standards.
- Design, implement and govern how an organisation manages its data assets. From practical data quality and Master data management, to effective data governance frameworks and operating models.
- Drive data literacy within an organisation, and build, empower and advocate a network of data stewards to help the business own and control its data assets.
- Gather, analyse, and interpret data to provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making within the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, or related engineering discipline.
- Infrastructure project design and/or construction experience with progressive accumulation of management and leadership responsibilities. Intuitive understanding of major project dynamics, hierarchies, & needs.
- Experience working with different project delivery models such as design-bid-build, design-build and progressive design-build.
- Experience with client interaction and ability to excel in a client-facing role.
- Developed delivery skills and a “delivery mindset”. Able to make decisions, define tasks, take action & demonstrate progress.
- Exceptional leadership skills. Thinks strategically. Can communicate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders for understanding & buy-in. Able to structure effective teams and work through others.
- Expertise in information management, and digital collaboration technologies including significant experience working with, designing, implementing & managing Common Data Environments (CDE) using systems such as ProjectWise, BIM 360, SharePoint, Aconex, etc. Strong working knowledge of ISO 19650 standard.
- Specialist knowledge in the implementation, use and development of Building Information Modeling (BIM), Computer Aided Design (CAD) and integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
- Working knowledge of data/information exchange protocols.
- Working knowledge of relevant British and ISO industry standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with people at all levels across the organisation and externally.
- Ability to plan, implement and manage projects to deliver to time, budget and quality.
- Dedicated team player with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels including external stakeholders.
- Adopting a proactive approach towards complex tasks and overall delivery.
- Sound knowledge of professional and international standards.
