Job Description

Job Purpose Follow up on all seismic acquisition and processing activities in the organization. Ensure the agreed scope is successfully delivered on time with the right technical standard.Job Responsibilities Acquire all geophysical data interpretation techniques to produce reliable, accurate time and depth structure maps as a basis for well planning, reservoir modeling and reserves estimation. Integrate geological and reservoir engineering data with available geophysical description to deliver a coherent subsurface description of field of responsibilities. Oversee seismic processing programs, select & process parameters to deliver a high-quality, timely and cost-effective product. Conduct technical evaluation and verification of contractor prequalification documents and assessment of contactor capabilities. Provide specialized support during the execution of contracts to ensure that both contracting parties fulfill their obligations. Monitor activities of seismic acquisition and processing teams, and ensure quality control of field data. Coordinate with supporting departments to ensure that operations proceed according to time and budget plan, and in accordance with appropriate health, safety and environmental (HSE) guidelines, policies and best practices. Supervise borehole geophysical operations, including sonic logging, VSP and check shot surveys. Participate in managing and updating of geoscience databases. Oversee loading of seismic and well data into software applications used in processing and interpretation. Provide advice and support regarding geoscience software requirements. Lead the geophysical front of building field development plans (FDPs) for fields of responsibility. Ensure an integrated static and dynamic description with an up-to-date geophysical interpretation is in place with a clear documentation of subsurface assumptions and uncertain-ties. Responsible for the geophysical description of new development, appraisal, and exploration opportunities. Ensure they are included in the new well delivery hopper with a proper documentation in place. Education Bachelor's Degree in Geophysics Minimum 10 years in Petroleum Geology.
