Robusta is a tech agency working with a diverse client base across different sectors & industries on implementing digital transformation programs. Engagements are typically focused on digitization of existing operations & processes and/or activation of digital customer engagement channels. With a team of 100+ tech and market consultants, robusta maintains an impactful footprint across EMEA and engages with its clients through its two key operations hubs in Egypt and Germany.
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Finance Director to oversee all financial aspects of business and drive Robusta Technology Group's financial strategy and planning. You will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of the company as well as possible risks and investments.
Your areas of responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with senior management in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including budget development, business unit performance analysis, and providing insights to improve profitability, pricing, and planning strategies.
  • Manage treasury functions, optimizing cash flow across regional entities, leveraging foreign exchange benefits, and overseeing short and medium-term investments.
  • Oversee regional operating activities to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Spearhead the development of progressive performance-based compensation and benefits models, and manage the company's Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
  • Provide decision-making support by developing business cases for key initiatives.
  • Manage asset portfolios across the group, focusing on enterprise value growth and long-term scenario planning.
  • Ensure governance and legal compliance through structuring entities and agreements to support financial performance.
  • Align financial strategies with the company's overall objectives and steer strategic direction.
  • Evaluate and develop investment plans, and communicate with investors and shareholders.
  • Demonstrate expertise in finance management with a specialized focus on technology and startups.
  • Utilize extensive experience in B2B professional services to enhance financial strategies.
  • Apply market insights, particularly in KSA, UAE, and the UK, to inform financial decision-making.
  • Provide executive-level financial insights and recommendations.
  • Lead budgeting processes and collaborate with department heads to establish financial targets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial forecasting.
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analyses.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Optimize working capital and investment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations.
  • Provide financial insights for strategic decisions such as mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Lead and mentor finance team members.
  • Communicate financial performance, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other executives to drive financial success.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • From 10 to 15 years experience in finance management roles, preferably in a tech industry and startup/scaleup focus.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to align financial strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Proven leadership and management capabilities.
  • Ability to present complex financial information clearly and understandably.
  • Adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards.
  • Commitment to integrity in financial reporting and decision-making.
  • Familiarity with the industry and understanding of relevant market trends.
  • Ability to leverage technology for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Advanced degree (MBA or CFA) is often preferred.
  • Background in banking or investment is preferred.
