This role requires a blend of finance acumen, technological expertise, and analytical skills to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes.Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain financial management information systems to streamline data collection, reporting, and analysis processes.Monitor data quality and integrity within financial systems, identifying and resolving discrepancies or errors.Automate routine financial reporting tasks using scripting languages or BI tools to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.Provide training and support to finance team members on the use of MIS tools and systems.Design and optimize databases, queries, and reports to provide timely and accurate financial insights to stakeholders.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial MIS, recommending enhancements or new technologies to improve processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for MIS solutions.Assist in ad hoc financial analysis & forecasting projects as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in Financial reporting.At least 3-5 years of proven experience in finance, accounting, or MIS roles, with a focus on financial systems development, implementation, and support.Strong proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle), data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), and scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) is preferred.Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
