Pashto/Dari Linguists CAT I

Valiant Integrated Services is actively seeking Pashto/Dari linguists to assist with the Department of State's Afghan Relocation Effort Program (CARE) Camp As Sayliyah (CAS) Translator/Linguist Program (CAST/L).ResponsibilitiesAs a linguist, you will be providing translation and interpretation services for Afghan refugees, as well as for the US Department of State and military officials.Position RequirementsMinimum QualificationsUS CitizenFluent in Pashto/DariScore at least a 3/3/3/3 speaking, listening, reading, and writing (SLRW)3 years of experience in translation, and/or interpretationWilling and able to deploy to QatarAbility to function as a professional team member, making informed, accurate, and timely decisions as neededPossess basic computer and typing skills (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minuteDesired QualificationsSecret or higher security clearancePrior experience working with refugeesExperience in the medical field; strong knowledge of medical terminologyPrior experience working for the Department of StateEEO is The Law - click here for more informationEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledValiant Integrated Services is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
