Lodging Manager - UAE

SUMMARY:

As the Lodging Manager, the person will be responsible for direct, on-site, management administration and implementation of projects, facilities, or complexes, in support of the housing management programs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

·Function as an integral member (military and civilians) of a team of trained professionals responsible for the operations and maintenance of support facilities and equipment for USAF personnel and resources. Registers and assigns rooms to guests in coordination with military counterparts, issues room keys and may escort guests to rooms as needed.

·Ensure service coverage for three lodging locations 24x7x365

·Ensure that all requirements are met IAW the PWS and timely submission of any required CDRLS

·Work as a member of a team administering management of barracks and dormitories.

·Determine requirements and maintains data for new or replacement furniture, appliances, and equipment.

·Serve as member of a team administering on post privatization efforts for the Residential Communities Initiative (RCI) and supports Privatized US Air Force Lodging requirements.

·Ensures all required information is received from guest or military counterpart and entered in the guest folio.

·Perform change of occupancy pre-final, termination, and assignment inspections of units.

·Serves as POC for HAZMAT Management of the contract to include proper handling, storage and disposition of bleach, oil, cleaning supplies and any other industrial strength type product.

·Oversee multiple departments inclusive of lodging, lodging logistics, linen exchange and water delivery.

·Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

·High School diploma or equivalent.

·Minimum of 5 years of related experience in supervising and managing DOD or comparable lodging.

·Two (2) years’ experience with hotel or lodging operations as well as 3 years personnel management experience.

·Knowledgeable of DLS

·Hospitality and services management industry as well as aseptic cleaning procedures.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

·Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)

·Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY

·Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for the U.A.E.

·Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.

·Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

·Must have expert knowledge and ability to perform duties through utilization of multiple software applications inclusive of but not exclusive to CQMaps, Microsoft products and other software.

Security Clearance: Must have and maintain an U.S. Secret Clearance.
